John Obenland is a data scientist working on the predictive analytics division for product underwriting at Zurich. He obtained his M.S. in Applied Statistics from DePaul University in 2010 and has been in the data science field in the insurance industry for over 7 years. He will give a talk about data science practices at Zurich and in this field in general and share his career experience with students. Joining John, Eugene Choi, Senior Manager of Data Science and Christina Fernandes-D’Souza, Data Scientist will also be sharing their insights and experiences on these topics.
